Locklies Creek is conveniently located on the lower
Rappahannock River near Grey's Point and the White Stone
bridge with a Breath Taking view of the Chesapeake Bay. We are
no more than 3 hours drive from Washington, D.C., 1.5 hours
from Richmond or the Hampton Roads area. Hummel airport is
approximately one mile away.
From Richmond
Take I-64 east to Exit 220, West Point. Proceed east on Route 33
to its intersection with U.S. 17, then turn left at the stop light.
Follow Route 33/U.S. 17 to the town of Saluda, then turn right at
the traffic light onto Route 33 again. Proceed 7 miles east on
Route 33 to the intersection of Route 3. Turn left onto Route 3,
then turn right onto Route 621 to the 4th Residence on the Left.
From Washington, DC
Take I-95 south to I-295, the Rocky Mount-Norfolk exit, then onto
I-64 east. Proceed eastward on I-64 to Exit 220-West Point. From
the West Point exit, follow the same instructions as listed above
for Richmond.
From Hampton Roads
Follow U.S. 17, J. Clyde Morris Blvd., towards Yorktown, then over
the Coleman Bridge spanning the York River. Stay on U.S. 17 to
Saluda, then turn right onto Route 33 east. From there follow the
same route as listed above for Richmond.
